Rural infrastructure is critical for stimulating the rural economy and achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. The importance of infrastructure for economic growth and development in rural area can hardly be overemphasised in a developing economy like India. With poor rural infrastructure, even a marginal improvement in its quantity and quality could significantly improve economic development and human well-being. Improving basic infrastructure, such as roads, transport, electricity, telecommunications, housing, health, water and sanitation, is essential for development and well-being of the rural population. 

Shrushti believes the development of rural infrastructure could promote economic growth, improve the standard of living of the population and reduce the incidence of poverty by generating both farm and non-farm employment and earning opportunities, increasing productivity, providing access to basic goods and services and improving the health and physical condition of people putting aside the classified activities, Shrushti Seva Samiti has conducted the following major activities sponsored by GAIL India Ltd. Abu road GAIL India Ltd. 

  • Construction of traffic police posts.
  • Construction of modern bus stops.
  • Conical dividers, Ghoomati and barricades for traffic control.
  • High mounted light for bus stand, Abu road.

Along with it Shrushti Seva Samiti has conducted the following major activities sponsored by Japanese fund for poverty reduction through Asian development Bank under Rajasthan urban infrastructure development project, Jodhpur for Developing Sanitation Facilities, & Capacity Building in Sant Ravidas Colony, Jodhpur

  • Construction of Nali, Link sewer line, individual house sewer and C.C. Road.
  • Puppet show, Street play and IEC material for awareness.
  • Formation of youth club, women group and Self-help group.
