At Shrushti Seva Samiti, we believe in the power of change through collective effort. Our esteemed non-profit organization holds the prestigious Special Consultative Status within the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), a testament to our commitment to global welfare. Additionally, we are proud bearers of the ISO 9001:2008 certification, underlining our dedication to excellence. Currently, Shrushti operates within 47 districts across four states—Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand—concentrating its efforts on the aforementioned thematic areas. A robust team of more than 242 dedicated individuals is driving these initiatives forward. Remarkably, the organization is actively engaged with 1.2 million rural households, ultimately touching the lives of 6.1 million people with its impactful work.

To promote the cause of universalization of primary educational, especially girl education.

To empower women by promoting literacy and employment generation programmers.

To support the farmer in agricultural activities leading to economic growth and modernization.

To generate awareness to health, sanitation, family welfare and develop scientific temper in the rural folk.

To promote awareness to environment related issues such as forest conservation, rain water harvesting, alternative energy resources, and pollution control.

To promote social justice by extending help to physically handicapped, child-laboures and orphans.

Operating across 41 districts in Rajasthan, 5 districts in Gujarat, 2 districts in Maharashtra, 1 District in Tamil Nadu, 1 district in Karnataka, 1 district in Kerla, 1 district in Puducherry, 3 districts in Himachal Pradesh, 7 districts in Madhya Pradesh, 1 district in Chhattisgarh and 1 district in Uttarakhand our impact knows no bounds. Our Key Development Sectors

Education

Going beyond the basics, we understand that education is not just a fundamental right but also a key factor in breaking the cycle of poverty and ignorance. Our educational programs have impacted a remarkable 1,09,800 children. We prioritize improving learning outcomes, promoting digital literacy, and ensuring that children in all the regions we serve receive a quality education. By collaborating with local communities and educational institutions, we are shaping young minds for a brighter and more prosperous future.

Health & Nutrition

Our tireless dedication to the well-being of communities has resulted in serving an impressive 272,000 families. Our core focus is to enhance healthcare accessibility, provide essential medical services, and raise awareness about the importance of health and nutrition. Through our initiatives, we aim to elevate health outcomes and empower individuals with the knowledge required for maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Water & Sanitation

With a focus on upholding basic human rights, we have sensitized over 8,83,000 individuals to the importance of clean water and proper sanitation. Our commitment involves providing access to clean water sources, constructing sanitation infrastructure, and advocating for essential hygiene practices. Through community-led projects, we are not only improving overall health but also restoring a sense of dignity to the lives of countless individuals and families.

Infrastructure Development

As part of our commitment to progress, we have successfully constructed 400 sites including Solar Street Lights, Drainage Systems, Water Structures, Chek Dams Etc. This demonstrates our dedication to comprehensive infrastructure development that supports and enhances the well-being of the communities we serve.

Livelihood

Our mission revolves around empowering individuals with skills and opportunities. Affecting the lives of 22,700 farmers, our initiatives encompass vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and job placement programs. By nurturing local talents and establishing sustainable livelihoods, we are making significant strides in alleviating poverty and promoting social empowerment.

Environment

In our steadfast commitment to a sustainable future, we have planted more than 79,000+ trees. Our projects are geared towards environmental conservation, afforestation, waste management, and encouraging the adoption of renewable energy sources. Through community engagement and awareness campaigns, we inspire individuals to take on the role of environmental stewards, fostering a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.

25 Years of Growth & Impact

A journey of commitment, innovation and community transformation.

1999
Establishment of Shrushti Seva Samiti

The organization was founded by Mr. Naresh Madawat with a vision of creating an egalitarian society and promoting quality education among girls in Rajasthan.

2004
First major collaboration

First major collaboration with GAIL which went on for four years. Implemented various tasks like distribution of tailoring equipment, installation of solar lights, construction of bus stop, etc.

In the same year, Shrushti also partnered with RSKB, Jaipur and ran 9 months long Shivamba Shivirs for a total of 600 girls.


2005
Entry into Healthcare & Agriculture

Shrushti forayed into the area of Healthcare, Agriculture, WADI, Construction of small well as it received support from WFP.


2006
Inclusive Education & Skill Development

We organized Bridge Courses Camps for Children with Disability partnering with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

In the same year Shrushti engaged in skill development training programmes with support of state governement and expand its reach to new territories.


2007
FCRA Approval

A major breakthrough occurred in this year as Shrushti cleared the FCRA regulations and could now accept foreign funding.


2008
First International Funding

Recived our first international funding from IGSSS who gave us the task of organizing a workshop for the youth

2010
Expansion towards Women Empowerment

Shrushti continued and expanded its work in the area of women empowerment and partnered with NABARD, Jaipur and IGSSS, New Delhi


2013
Continuous Funding and Development

Funds continued to pour in from different directions and the organization took up bigger projects and reached out to more number of people.


2014
Few more Collaborations

We collaborated with Child Fund India and provided training to women and youth.


2016-17
Established Leading Centers

Partnered with IIFL Foundation and IIMPACT managing learning centers for tribal girls in remote areas of South Rajasthan. Established 510 Learning center for 16500 tribal girls in 8 blocks of 6 districts.


2017-18
Established Anganwari Centers

Partnered with CARE India and Vedanta Group to work on increasing awareness about Anganwari centers among the villagers and also improving the infrastructure of these centers to fulfil the basic needs of children who are enrolled here.

Partnered with Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan to to establish low price sanitary Napkin Unit in rural part of south Rajasthan.


2018-19
Multiple New Partnerships

Partnership establishd with Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Women & Child Development Department, Adarsh Charitable Foundation, Photographer without Border, Urmul Trust and initiated projects on Research, Skill Development, Women Empowerment etc.


2019-20
New Projects Initiation

New projects started with Sightsavers International(2 Projects) to work on Eye care Health, Jumio India Pvt. Ltd(2 Projects) to work on Eye Care Health & Menstruation Hygiene, IIFL Foundation (1 project) for Children health Assessment, Department of Industries (1 Project) for leather artisans.

2020-21
New Projects

New Projects with Water & Sanitation Support Organization (WSSO), Rajasthan for to cover 100% rural household in Dungarpur. Another project with IPE Global Pvt. Ltd. was initiated in all 1239 AWC of 976 villages of Pratpagarh district to work on Mother & Child Care. Also partnered with Jumio India Pvt. Ltd. For CSR initiative in the field Eye Care Health and Menstruation Hygiene. This year we also received project from Dept. of Science & Technology, GOI for popularization of Science among tribal children.


2021-22
Projects with WSSO

Projects with Water & Sanitation Support Organization (WSSO), Rajasthan for to cover 100% rural household in Udaipur & Barmer under Jal Jeevan Mission. Maa Badi Project from IIFL Foundation for creating child friendly learning places for tribal children and successfully gets into partnership with KSCF, New Delhi and KSCF, US to work on Child Sexual Abuse, Child Labour and Child trafficking cases in Dungarpur & Kota.


2022-23
Partnerships for Nandghar Project

Current Financial Year start with partnership with Anil Agarwal Foundation and Vedanta Foundation for Nandghar Project. Also gets into partnership with UNDP India to work Climate Change Issue in Udaipur. This year we got the opportunity to work for person with disabities in Pratapgarh districts
