The Sakhiyon Ki Badi initiative operates in remote tribal areas of Rajasthan, spanning Udaipur, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Pali, and Sirohi districts. It comprises 500 Community Learning Centers across 7 blocks, reaching approximately 14500 children, with a focus on reintegration of dropouts and irregular students into mainstream education. This holistic approach, involving 226 Panchayats and 376 Villages, emphasizes both genders development and academic excellence. Dedicated Inspiration Committees guide these community schools, fostering local teacher and parent involvement. Additionally, they advocate for child rights, addressing issues like child labor, education, and migration at the village level, contributing to comprehensive community development. Over 10,900 girls have been integrated into the formal education system, fostering greater gender equality and driving positive societal transformation.
