Nand Ghar

Nand Ghar, a project by Vedanta Foundation, is a transformative leap dedicated to benefit rural children and women in India. A measure undertaken by Vedanta under the Anil Agarwal Foundation Initiative, together with the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD), the project aims to ensure that rural India is not left behind in Indias march towards progress. Nand Ghar aim to bridge the rural-urban development gap. The mission is aligned with the Prime Ministers vision to combat child malnutrition, offer education and healthcare, and empower women through skill development. These modern Anganwadis have improved attendance, learning, and school readiness with e-learning and playful education. Additionally, women are empowered through entrepreneurship training, skill development, and access to credit, fostering economic contributions. Nand Ghars hold immense potential to transform the lives of millions.
