In Rajasthan, where one in three newborns is underweight, a strategic partnership with IPE Global and Children Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) aims to address low birth weight and infant wasting. Shrushti Seva Samiti leads this initiative across 3358 Anganwadi in Pratapgarh & Banswara District. The objective is to empower pregnant and lactating women with essential cash benefits, enhancing maternal nutrition and newborn health. This initiative supplements existing government schemes, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and Indira Gandhi Matritva Poshan Yojana (IGMPY). It also includes a Social & Behaviour Change Communication strategy to promote nutrient-dense food consumption, aiming for a healthier future for mothers and infants, benefitting over 77612 women.
